Gran Canaria is a volcanic island. The ash and lava created a fertile soil for nature to thrive on this island. The different landscapes are breathtaking. On the one side the subtropical nature with beautiful plants, fruit trees and typical pine trees. On the other side there is the unforgiving desert.
